Yes, this is how far behind I am on my pictures/posts. We’ll catch up though.
We went up to my Grandpa Earl’s house on Father’s Day Weekend. It’s tradition. He lives on a lake. Saturday morning Jesse, Mallory, Maxwell & Maggie went to check out the water.
Tossing sticks for Maggie
Maggie loved it!
Mallory’s nickname became, crockpot, over the weekend. When we arrived late Friday night she went right to the campfire and climbed into my Uncle’s Wife’s lap, who we see maybe 3x a year, and she talked and talked to them. One of the things they talked about was her shoes, her crocks. So Uncle Rusty started calling her crockpot all weekend.
Someone had to wrangle Maxwell at all times because he was trouble! Trying to get into everything that he wasn’t suppose to.
A four-wheeler ride with Grandpa back up to the campfire.
Mally went back down to the water with some of my aunts and came back up with a handful of duck feathers. She told me she had nine feathers and my Aunt said she kept telling everyone she had nine. No one had counted them to verify. So I did! Sure enough! She had nine!
Trying to keep Maxwell entertained until nap time.
This was the only time they were dry. It rained the rest of the weekend. But it was still hot out so they played outside in the rain.
Jesse’s parents lent us their camper for the weekend and that was a huge hit with all four us. We might just be ready to venture into that camping world… with a camper though! : )
