Ever since we had our nanny, who’s daughter was in ballet, Mallory will dance around the house and talk about ballet. Well she was finally old enough this year to take her first ballet class.
She is a few classes in now and I got to go to her class by myself this past week so I snuck my camera into class to document her in action.
She is the one with her head touching her toes! Oh to be this flexible again!

She has school all day on ballet nights. So sometimes she starts to zone out – because she is super tired. But of course, she will never admit that!
She loves to go! Loves to wear the frilly tu-tu and ballet shoes.
She does a great job of listening to her teacher (most of the time) and memorizing the moves that she is taught. She only goes once a week and the teacher will ask “Who remembers 3rd position?” Mally will raise her hand and get into 3rd position. I’m seriously amazed by her memory!
Here she is with one of her little friends (below). She lives up the street from us and these girls love to play. During the summer we spend lots of walks, park trips, and backyard fun with her and her family.
Ballet is super fun for Mallory.
