Tile Is In!

Before I headed out on Friday I took a picture of the bathroom.  He had started tiling around the tub and I was very excited about it and wanted to show Jesse.

He finished it!!!  (He still needs to grout it, but all the tile work is done.)

I think this project is almost done!  : )  All that is left is to build a closet (for the water softener); install the sink; put the tub faucet on; install another countertop; install the door; and MOVE IN!!  : )

I think I am moving in as soon as the sink is installed and the door is put on.

HemmerFest 2009

HemmerFest Swirl

Logo for the Ladies shirts – I designed it.  My cousin Shawna bedazzled it too!!  Yes, she has a bedazzler and I am a bit jealous!

HemmerFest was a big success this year.  I think last year we had 3 campers and a couple tents… this year 15 campers!!!  We even had a camper!  Jesse’s Dad let us borrow their camper for the weekend.  It was awesome!  I think my tent days are over.

IMG_6365 We had hay wagon rides.

We stopped at Grandma & Grandpa’s old farm house.  They moved when I was pretty little, but I still have a few memories of it.  My sister and I would beg Mom & Dad to take us to Grandma’s house for a bath.  We only had a stand up tiny shower in our house and we wanted a bath not a shower.  I remember the bucket of crayons that melted in the front porch.  I remember having to take a nap on Grandma’s bed when everyone else got to play out side and I could hear them playing.  I remember swinging on the swing and it broke… and everyone fell on me.   Okay, I’ll stop with my memories of the farm.  : )

IMG_6373 Here we are running to check everything out.

Here is our HemmerFest Queens, Princesses, and Prince.  : )

Look what those mean cousins did to Grandma!  I love her face in this pictures.  And Shawna’s guilty face too.  Love it!

Then we took Mrs. HemmerFest and parade her around the block.  I’m kidding!!

IMG_6409 We were actually headed back to the farm to get pictures of the cousins in front of the house.

I think us cousins need to get together more often.  We were giggling so hard and having way too much fun.

The Frey family came too.  They felt like they needed a visitor pass to come to HemmerFest… so my Mom made them duct tape passes.

They even hired a live band to come out and play.  They were really good and played a lot of old fun songs.  Here is Mom trying to dance with Garrett.  Little Garrett was cutting 4 top teeth and he was not happy.

Maggie stood guard of Mallory and her stroller and made sure no one woke her up.

Of course at 6am the little ones are awake and ready to play!

But Jesse and Maggie say it is too early to play.

Two Months!

Here is Mallory’s two month video.  I took it the day she was actually two months, but it has taken me awhile to actually get it uploaded and on the blog.

Here is what two months brings us:

~ Cooing, cooing, and more cooing.  She loves to coo at her Daddy.  They coo back and forth at each – which I love to watch.  Sometimes she will even initiate the chatter, by looking at him and cooing.

~ She giggled!  It was a real giggle too.  I have heard her giggle a few times, but it was in her sleep.  I was actually playing with her and she full on giggled!  I haven’t heard it since… but it was way fun the time she did it.

~ Loves to sit up.  She sits in my lap and holds on to my fingers and pulls her head up until I help her sit up all the way.  Then when she is sitting she gets a big smile on her face.  If I don’t help her sit up she will get mad and cry.

~ Not a fan of belly time.  I’m horrible at giving her belly time – I know, you can hold your lectures.  I get them from my sister.  But when I put her on her belly she throws up.  No matter when I fed her – it could have been a couple hours since her last feeding and I think it will be safe for belly time… nope – she spits.

~ Sleeping!  She no longer gets up for a middle of the night feeding!  She still wakes up and grunts at me for about 30 seconds then quickly goes right back to sleep.

~ Favorites:  Her play mat.  The bouncer.  Mr. Grasshopper who hangs above her changing her table and jingles.  Snuggly blankets – she doesn’t have a favorite one yet, she just needs to snuggle with them when she is tired.  And of course her pacifier.
