One Month...

Someone pointed out to me today that we only have one month left until we hear that we have been matched!!!!! (Thanks Laura!! Love ya!!)

This brings a bit of stress along with lots of excitement! Yes, I want to know where we are going... but just exactly how are we getting all our stuff to that location!!

I have joked with other wives in the program that we will just sell everything and start over! We don't even want our clothes... who wouldn't want to start a new line of clothes in their closet!!!??

I am sure we will get everything packed and moved... oh packing!! There is more stress!! Packing!!!

Jesse talks with his brother, Jerry, about coming out here this summer and going dirt biking. Jerry would ship his bike here, then we could just bring Jerry's bike back to him when we move... um pretty sure I am already stressed for space. What the heck - lets bring his bike home with us too!! We got room!! Love ya Big Jer!!

So there you have it, one month and counting!! If you have any moving/packing tips for me - I'll take them. Also, both Jesse and I have attachement issues - tips on getting rid of junk would be great!

Snow Day

The Jeep in his snow performance lived up to his reputation - fun... but incredibly dangerous!! - Quote taken from Jesse.

Lynn had to work today... she drove herself!! It has been almost 4 years since I have had to drive in the snow! I am proud to say I made it there and back... in one piece and did not put any more dents in the truck!! Oh, then Jesse calls me at work and asks if one of the guys will put the chains on for me. The guys are trying to get my chains on and they just are not fitting correctly so they look at what size they are and they are too small!!! So, I drove home very slowly!!

Jesse... well... he claims he worked really hard today... but every time I talked to him he was out walking around outside. Or, he would call me and tell me he took the Jeep out for a spin.

When I got home from work I caught him with the Jeep out and he tells me to jump in. We are going to take his shipment to the mail lady [who was waiting at the front of the complex]. We spin and slide our way to the front of the complex. Jesse then wanted to go to the bank and cash a check... are you kidding me?! So, we drive over to the bank which is a block away and they are closed... so what else is a boy suppose to do when he has an empty parking lot full of snow!!!!!!! DONUTS!!! So, we are playing around in the parking and our neighbor/jeep buddy pulls into the parking lot and starts doing donuts with us!!

I am still secretly hoping for another snow day... as I didn't really get one. The weather reports claim it is suppose to be kind of yucky in the morning. I hope so!!

Interview Madness

This will be short and sweet - I just wanted to update you all on our interview process.

We received a couple more offers for interviews while we were in Wisconsin for Christmas. We turned down one and accepted the other. Now, we have 6 interviews in 5 days in 4 states!!

Monday = Iowa
Tuesday = Minnesota
Wednesday = Chicago
Thursday = Milwaukee
Friday = 2 in Milwaukee

I talked with Jesse last night he was doing very well. He said he wasn't nervous - I hope that is true!
