Indiana!!

This past weekend we went to Indiana. Jesse was attending another trade show and we had friends there, the Robbins!

It was my first real time getting to see Chicago... or I should say the Chicago skyline. I looked real hard for Oprah, but never saw her. : )

The further away we got from Wisconsin the less snow and the warmer it got. By the time we reached the Robbins they hardly had any snow!! It was kind of exciting to walk outside and not have to walk in snow and slush!

By Sunday it was 50 degrees out!!!!! So nice!! I loved it! Got me real ready for spring/summer.

I got to play with Brandon & Natalie's little girl while I was there. She is just precious! She was just starting to crawl... actually I think she knows how she just cheats and goes back to her army crawl. She also started pulling herself up and standing next to things.

Thank you so much Robbins for letting us stay with you for the weekend! I had so much fun! Can't wait to see you again in April!

We got back to Wisconsin on Monday and we have more snow then when we left!! Ugh.

When I talk to my co-workers in Oregon they are telling me that the trees are just starting to bud. WHAT!? I haven't seen grass since November.

Mamma Mia!

I went to a play/musical [Mamma Mia!] this weekend with my Aunt Jeannie and her friends here in Appelton. I only have 5 words for you...

YOU GOT TO SEE IT!!!!
It was so good and super funny! It is about this 20 year old girl who is getting married and she doesn't know who her father is. She reads her Mom's diary and narrows it down to 3 guys that could possibly be her Dad... she invites all 3 to her wedding without the Mom knowing!! That is all I can say. You'll have to see it for yourself!! It is a traveling performance so it may be coming to a city near you.

I found the website and here are few pictures from the show. (What is a blog w/o pictures?)

Graphic Artist

When I was in high school trying to decide what I wanted to go to college for my Mom told me to go to school to be a graphic artist or computer programmer. Who are you kidding!? I can't do that! Instead I went to school to be a Paralegal. To me that was a much better title. Well here I am neither a paralegal or a graphic artist... instead I am in accounting. Complete opposites, if you ask me!

I do enjoy my job and being in accounting, but sometimes I just need to break away and look at images instead of numbers.

Jesse is going to another trade show for his business in a few weeks and needed new business cards. I did a couple of them for him to pick from and he picked this one.

Then I decided that I work for this company too... I need one. Just for fun. So, I made a very girly-pink one. Isn't it cute?! Poor Jesse, he didn't know this company was so girly until he brought me on to work for him! : ) He also ordered baseball hats for himself and a few buddies... he got me a pink one! : )

Um. Jesse just came back from the sauna and I was showing off the card I made and he is now jealous and wants a re-do on his. : ) So here is the MAN version.

The bummer part is this afternoon I just printed up his cards with the first style that he picked... looks like I'll printing up some more for him tomorrow.
