To the Fair!

We are getting to know a family up the street from us and they have kids just about the same age as Mally & Max.  They called and asked us to go to the little fair in the next town over.

Riding the rocking boat.  When you have small town fairs the rides… oh the rides… wow… : )

The kids thought it was a blast though!

Our friend’s sister’s family came and so Mally’s little friend had her cousin and they rode all the rides together so Mally got stuck with all the strangers.  : )  However, she had no idea!  So her friends are in the other rocket chair.

Mally won this toy in the fish game so she needed a pit stop from rides to play with it.

I don’t know when or how they won this little pink puppy – but Max was a huge fan of it.

Then it became real fun to throw it out of the stroller!

This rocket train… was broken.  *giggling*  Seriously this fair was so lame!  Sorry kids!  It had just this one chunk of the train – the rest were laying in the middle of the track.  Screams safety, doesn’t it?!

We all survived the rides and the kids really did enjoy themselves!

And then reading

So after the dance session the books came out and if Mallory is going to sit in a chair and read a book… then Max needs a chair and a book.

And yes, he lost his pants. : )  My Mom always comments that my kids never wear pants when they are home. And… well… we have to change his diaper A LOT! So he will start the day with pants and by mid-morning I’m tossing them aside! : )

Shoes? Yeah they never wear socks or shoes either! If you had pudgy chunky feet like these two – you wouldn’t wear shoes either! : )

If Max wasn’t in that chair – he would be standing right next to Mally trying to climb in her lap and tugging on her book.

Ballet…Err…Um…You Decide…

Mallory is in a total dance/singing phase right now.  Last weekend it was kind of rainy one day so I busted out the ballet stuff for Mallory.  I just got her ballet placement mat, ballet bar, and DVD.  She got the tu-tu and the ballet slippers.

Nah.  Not for him.  He grabbed a car and starting driving all over the ballet mat.

There was one point where he grabbed on to her tu-tu and she started walking and he is following behind held on tightly to her tu-tu and laughing!
